In the incredibles I thought that it was interesting how the family tried so much to be normal. The members of the family had to hide there superpowers to conform with the norm in the world.
Dash was grounded for the fact that he put a tack on his teacher’s chair when he did it without being seen by even the cameras. His dad instead of thinking this was bad like his mother, congratulated him for not being seen. Even when Dash wanted to be a track runner, his family made sure that he was fast but not too fast. The family had to fit in, since they had blown their cover too many times before.
Mr. Incredible at the beginning wanted to work alone and would not let Incredible Boy work with him, however, in the end it seemed that he needed his families help in order to defeat the nemesis. All of the members of the family worked together with all of their superpowers in order to help. Elastic Girl was able to conform to different things in order to help the family. Dash was able to run fast. Violet was able to be invisible and to form a protective shell. And the baby turned into a different being. Together the superheroes were unbeatable.

I also liked that they tried so hard to be normal. Mr. and Mrs. Incredible had gone through the pain of being found out, so they want to do all they can to protect their kids. Just like a regular mom and dad!
